As quizzers, our memories are central to our enjoyment of the game. We love learning and we love recalling what we have learned. Our brains are our one indispensable tool.
Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia slowly erode your brain's functionality. People often think of it as forgetfulness, and it often initially presents itself in that way, but it is more than that.
Over time it takes away people's ability to function. It can change their personality. It can leave them as a shell of a person, dead in every meaningful way long before their bodies expire. Everything that made that person 'them' is taken away bit by bit.
At All Things Quiz we have personal experience of Alzheimer's in the family. We have seen the impact it has on the sufferer and the people around them. For that reason, we will be supporting Alzheimer's Research UK in 2025.
All profits from our shop in 2025 will be donated to Alzheimer's Research UK to help with their mission to find treatments and to find a cure.
